This Neolithic burial mound was built around 3000 BC, with 31 Bronze Age skeletons discovered inside when it was excavated in the 19th century. And following the trail for almost all of its route makes it one of the easiest to follow. Eventually the road turns into a track and joins back onto the Cotswold Way, where you retrace your footsteps for the final stretch back to the Seven Springs pub where you can call in for a drink.
